great presentation, your outline for what you will cover in your project seems really thorough, however this seems to be a common topic amoung our class, so our suggestion would be to try and take a different approach to p2p programs than the other groups, if thats at all possible. Also, definitely have lots of statistics and facts to support your theories and statements, for example if you say that p2p programs affect the music industry have some sort of statistic to back that up.

I think you've got this planned out well.
another group is also doing this same thing, except, they appear to be alittle more developed than you guys, but I think it's good, because with two groups presenting, we think that the chances of learning more are greater.
anyway, I think we can help by providing some links such as:
-The laws concerning copyright: http://www.copyright.gov/
- P2P software: http://compnetworking.about.com/od/p2ppeertopeer/tp/p2pfilesharing.htm
- General P2P related articles: http://news.surfwax.com/tech/files/Limewire_tech.html
- An interesting story tying P2P with Identity Theft: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071106/ap_on_hi_te/id_theft;_ylt=A0WTUe_5XjBHCUQBRCEjtBAF

I think group 1 will argue why P2P is good as opposed to bad, so I think if you took the P.O.V of a big music company, you could make this presentation very interesting as opposed to boring, but it's your choice since you will prbly be going before G1 for the final presentation. good luck!

We think that you guys did a good job on planning what to show. It seems like a lot of information about p2p will be in your presentaion, including one thing that all of us are interested in and that is how it affects students and later on in our lives how it affects the business world. It is hard to make suggestions on this because it was a pretty good outline that had almost anything one could think about for p2ps. All we can suggest is just make sure to cover each topic sufficiently and maybe add some stats and such.
