This presentation was very interesting and definitely kept my attention because search engines are so popular. The video clip was a nice presentation technique.
After going through your presentation again, you do touch on the security issues of search engines. To expand that topic, look into how Facebook is now allowing their users to be searched through Google. Is this an invasion of the privacy controls Facebook supposedly has? Maybe it is a topic that can add to your presentation seeing that it is a new problem regarding search engines. You chose a really good topic. Everybody uses search engines very frequently, so it is very applicable to all of our lives. It was interesting to learn how a search engine works.
the video on youtube was a very nice touch, It made your presentation more visual and detailed. The pie chart also had a similar effect. You were very effective at using the different types of media. The effects on students, society, and business were important ot talk about. You applied your topic to the world at large and that was very effective at illustrating what search engines actually do and what their roles are. |

Your presentation was very interesting and informative. I thought you did a good job of showing the different effects search engines have on student vs. the business world. To help make your presentation even more in depth, you should go into deeper detail on the different search engines and how they differentiate. Also, if you go deeper into the ‘issues with security’ more, your audience will have a better idea on your topic as a whole. In other words, you should go into more detail on the negative effects search engines to show both spectrums of arguments that are happening in today’s society. When you give your final presentation you should include your stance on search engines and whether you think the security issues out way the benefits.
